eCVi (Health Certificates)
By utilizing the same electronic identification and validation mechanisms used in our Coggins report genneration, electronic eCVI’s are authenticated by linking the microchip of the animal with the generated report. QR codes validate the reports by linking to the master document in the cloud through the secure, EquipassID portal.
Electronic EIA (Coggins) and other Infectious Disease Reports
The key to maintaining a healthy industry starts with proper identification and traceability of not just the horse, but their blood sample tubes and the reports generated about the animal. For years, verifying authentic Coggins has been a subjective process. Electronic reports have reduced fraud and offer a more secure format than the old paper trail but have still not eliminated the subjective pitfalls. That’s where microchip identification, QR-coded reports, and blood tube barcodes resolve the problem By linking the animal to its unique microchip, bar codes on blood tubes tie the sample animal together through the microchip. QR codes on all generated reports validate the record is certified and uncorrupted.
