Owners and agents play a critical role in ensuring the health of the equine industry. By having immediate access to certified infectious disease reports and veterinary inspections, EquipassID dramatically reduces infectious disease concerns while reducing the cheating involved in competition.
Carrying paper documents has long been a source of frustration for owners and competitors who travel to race, show, breed, sell, and treat their horses. Coggins and vet inspection documents are:
- Forgotten and left at the barn
- Lost in transit

Each of these scenarios places the health of every other horse in danger.

By linking the horses’ unique microchip identifiers to their certified reports, all subjectivity is eliminated. A competitor may no longer enter one horse to compete under the documents of another. Owners simply download the “Owner” software application on their Android or iPhone device and register an account through the EquipassID platform.
For security purposes, your primary veterinarian then invites you to accept the horse into your electronic stable. Granting permission to recall, view and store reports.
Records about each horse in your stable are immediately accessible under the individual horse file. Coggins and Health Certificates may also be downloaded and stored directly on your mobile device.
