States
Each state plays a critical role in governing the horse industry’s health, well-being, and safety. Before now, Coggins, other infectious diseases, and veterinary inspection reports were dependent upon a subjective analysis. Paper formats require inspectors to determine if the horse corresponds with the documents presented subjectively. Electronic formats have improved the system but still require human assessment. That’s where positive, animal identification fills the gap. By allowing the horse’s unique microchip to initiate, identify, and validate the report, each segment of the industry can be assured of any animal’s compliance.
- EquipassID’s SaaS platform is certified by the USDA for EIA (Coggins) generation meeting USDA and APHIS vs. 1011 standards
- Electronic Certified Veterinary Inspection reports generated by EquipassID are certified by the United States Animal Health Association and the National Assembly of State Animal Health Offices of every state
- All eCVI’s may be produced in PDF, XML, and JSON formats. Each certified report is exported to the state in which the inspection took place and the state of destination
- EquipassID utilizes CVI Central (a Trace First product) to export reports to the database of the designated state
- Integration with USAHERDS is currently in progress
